Education
SAMS Education Committee offers collaborative educational and training programs to equip the medical practitioners in Syria and beyond with the latest tools and healthcare methodologies.

SAMS sponsors the Avicenna Journal of Medicine to promote medical research and support academic medical professionals.
 
															Assembly
SAMS’s dedicated assembly form volunteer teams of healthcare professionals to offer comprehensive care, including primary, secondary and tertiary care and rehabilitation services.
 
															Global Committies Aid Assistance
SAMS Society’s Global Committees coordinate to offer aid and medical relief in disaster-struck areas or any other emergency. The committee mobilizes medical supplies and provides on-ground medical support in conflict zones with weak or no medical infrastructure.

The Bylaws Committee ensures that all governing documents of SAMS are up-to-date, transparent, and aligned with the mission. The committee is responsible for reviewing and updating the amendments to ensure accountability of all leaders.

The membership committee works on recruiting, engaging, and retaining members to build a community of healthcare professionals committed to fulfilling the SAMS’ mission.

The Education and Scholarship Committee works to develop modules and specific courses for the education of Syrian American students and medical professionals. It also offers scholarships to deserving students to help them with their residency.

The advocacy committee works to raise the voices of Syrian workers and healthcare professionals affected by the conflict. The committee raises awareness and influences the policy through strategic engagement with media and health forums.
