Dr. Waleed Najeeb’s career trajectory from Damascus, Syria, to a leading position in the field of pulmonary critical care in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, underscores his exceptional commitment to medical excellence and innovation. His educational foundation was established at Damascus University’s School of Medicine, followed by an extensive postgraduate training pathway that included a residency at New York Health and Hospital’s Sunnybrook Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Najeeb further specialized through fellowships in pulmonary and critical care at Marshall University, WV, and in sleep medicine in Cleveland, OH.

Currently, Dr. Najeeb is at the forefront of pulmonary critical care, offering consultation services across several hospitals in Milwaukee, WI, in addition to running two clinics in Glendale and Greenfield, Wisconsin. He is a founding member and the President of Medpoint Family Care Center since 1991, and played a pivotal role in establishing the Independent Physicians of Wisconsin in 2017, a multispecialty group advocating for the interests of independent medical practitioners. His leadership extends to his role as Vice President of Physician Affairs at the Independent Physicians Network in Wisconsin.
